Validity Of Motor Vehicle Related Documents Extended Further In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In accordance with the advisory of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) to further extend the validity of motor vehicle related documents upto September 30, 2020, Odisha Government also issued a similar order in this regard on Thursday.

The office order issued by the State Transport Authority, Odisha, read that considering the advisory dated June 9, 2020, issued by MoRTH, the validity of the following documents are extended upto September 30, 2020.

1.) Fitness Certificate: Fitness Certificate of all motor vehicle expired/expiring between February 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020 will be treated as valid till September 30, 2020.

2.) Registration Certificate of Non-transport vehicles: Registration Certificate of Non-transport vehicles expired/expiring between February 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020 will be treated as valid till September 30, 2020.

3.) Driving License: Driving Licenses expired/expiring between February 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 will be treated as valid till September 30, 2020.

4.) Learner’s License: Learner’s Licenses expired/expiring between March 18, 2020 to June 30, 2020 will be treated as valid till September 30, 2020 as the Driving Licenses test has been cancelled w.e.f. March 18, 2020.

5.) Goods Carriage, Contract Carriage, Private Service Vehicle and Educational Institution Bus Permits: Goods Carriage, Contract Carriage, Private Service Vehicle and Educational Institution Bus Permits expired/expiring between February 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020 will be treated as valid till September 30, 2020.

6.) Stage Carriage Permanent Permits: All Stage Carriage Permanent Permits and permits issued by Reciprocating States Countersigned by STA, Odisha on interstate routes expired/expiring between February 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020 will be treated as valid till September 30, 2020.
