Veteran Singer Geeta Pattnaik Hospitalized After Suffering Cerebral Stroke

Bhubaneswar: Veteran Odia singer Geeta Pattnaik has been admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack after reportedly suffering a cerebral stroke on Thursday.

According to reports, Patnaik attended a literary event as a guest in Bhubaneswar on Thursday and suddenly fell ill. She was rushed to Capital Hospital, where it was revealed that she had suffered a cerebral stroke. Her condition is stated to be critical, and she is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

However, Geeta Patnaik’s family has not released any official statement regarding her health condition.

Her hospitalization has caused concern among her fans and the literary community.

The renowned singer is best known for her contributions to Odia music since 1970, particularly her collaborations with singer Akshaya Mohanty. Some of her notable works include Emiti Pua Ku Mu Baha Huenti, ‘Baha Mu Hebi’, and ‘Mo Dehare’.
