Bhubaneswar: A young video editor working in a reputed media house in Bhubaneswar committed suicide by jumping before a moving train near Patia railway station late Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Partha Narayan Das (21), a native of Lambhitala village under Brahmagiri police limits in Puri district. He was staying on rent at Prashanti Vihar near KIIT square and working in OTV.
His body was recovered from the railway tracks near Patia railway station on Wednesday night. While Partha was reportedly depressed for the past couple of days due to some financial issues, the exact reason why he took the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
