Malkangiri: A video of Maoists dancing in their camp has gone viral on social media. The purported video is from an unknown place close to the bordering area of Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district and Odisha’s Malkangiri district.
In the video, several armed cadres of the extremist group can be seen in their uniforms and dancing to the beats of a song while holding each other’s hands.
Reportedly, some commoners joined the Maoists for dancing. In the video, several men and women can be seen dancing; while some other armed extremists are seen standing nearby while enjoying the programme.
Experts suggest that Maoists celebrate in a similar way when they cause any mishap and achieve success in it or organise some kind of event. They dance and sing to celebrate the moment.
