Puri: A video of the sanctum sanctorum of the revered Shree Jagannath temple in Puri has gone viral on social media, sparking concerns about the breach of temple rules.
The iclip, which appear to have been taken from within the temple premises, shows the sacred area around the deities.
The video clip, taken by a devotee named Banke Bihari Anant, was uploaded on his Instagram page. It shows the Kirtan Chakada and Garuda Stamba inside the shrine. Another photo, seemingly taken from the Natamandapa, has also been shared widely.
The viral photos have raised questions about the enforcement of the temple’s rules, which prohibit the use of mobile phones within the premises. Despite these restrictions, photos of the temple’s inner sanctum continue to surface on social media.
