Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance on Saturday raided the premises of an Assistant Engineer posted in Gajapati district over allegations of possession of disproportionate assets.
The A.E., Dilip Kumar Sahu works in the office of Rayagada Panchayat Samiti, the Vigilance said, and added that searches are underway at four places. A team led by Additional SP, Vigilance and 5 Inspectors is conducting searches at four places in Gajapati and Berhampur.
Special Judge Vigilance, Berhampur has issued a warrant in this case. Searchers are being carried out in a flat at Spectrum Malati Residency in Gopabandhu Nagar, Berhampur, two-storeyed house at Jyoti Nagar, Berhampur, office at Digapahandi and Government quarter at Cheligada in R Udaygiri, the anti corruption agency informed.
