Bhubaneswar: Vigilance today arrested Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, Civil Supplies Officer (CSO), for possessing disproportionate assets.
The arrest was made following a thorough search of Panigrahi’s properties, which revealed a staggering array of assets, including two buildings, a farmhouse spread over four acres of land with 500 teak trees, and 19 plots across various districts.
The searches also unearthed deposits worth over Rs. 1.72 crore, cash amounting to Rs. 1.49 lakhs, and other assets that Panigrahi could not satisfactorily explain.
The Odisha Vigilance has registered a case against Panigrahi at Sambalpur Vigilance PS.
