Bhubaneswar: The forest wing of Odisha Vigilance conducted a joint raid today, February 18, 2026, at Balarampur PRF (Proposed Reserve Forest) under Jenapur Police Station in Jajpur district, based on reliable information.
During the operation, three tractors carrying 16 cft of minor minerals, specifically Black Granite Stone, worth approximately Rs. 24,81,600, were detected and seized.
The raid was part of efforts to curb illegal trading of minor minerals in the area. Further investigation is underway, and a detailed report will follow.
