Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance launched simultaneous searches today at five locations linked to Niranjan Satapathy, Forester of the Koraput Forest Division, over allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA).
According to a release issued by Odisha Vigilance, the operation is being led by six DSPs, seven inspectors, and other staff, armed with search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Bhubaneswar.
The locations being searched include two triple-storeyed buildings in Jharpada, Bhubaneswar; his parental house at Mukundapur in Jagatsinghpur; and his government quarter and office room at Semiluguda in Koraput Forest Division.
Searches are ongoing, and further updates will follow.
