Bhubaneswar: Vigilance raids have been conducted on 39 government employees in the last two months since the new government came to power. The raids, carried out between June 12, 2024, and August 25, 2024, resulted in the seizure of disproportionate assets (movable/immovable) worth Rs. 49. 35 crore.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Monday shared this information in the State Assembly while answering a question by BJP MLA from Brahmagiri Upasana Mohapatra in the House.
In the last year from 01.08.2023 to 25.08.2024, the total value of assets seized in Vigilance raids is Rs. 115 crore, informed CM.
