Vigilance Raid On Dhenkanal Excise Superintendent’s Residence

Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance Department on Thursday raided the residential house of Dhenkanal Excise Superintendent Prasanna Kumar Mohanty here.

The officer is suspected to have accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The vigilance officials also searched at least 6 other places, including the officer’s ancestral house in Dhenkanal, and some of their relatives to unearth possession of disproportionate assets.

However, the amount of wealth traced out is yet to be known.
