Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths launched simultaneous searches at nine locations across four districts Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, and Rayagada in connection with allegations of disproportionate assets against Antaryami Sahu, Forest Range Officer, Kashipur Forest Range in Rayagada.
A team of 7 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), 7 Inspectors, 9 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and other supporting staff, armed with search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Jeypore, Koraput, conducted the searches at various properties linked to Sahu, including his residential and office premises.
The locations being searched include:
- Two buildings in Baliguda, Kandhamal, including one in his spouse’s name
- A house in Karadapada, Nayagarh, belonging to his in-laws
- Two buildings in Sraniketa and Daringbadi, Kandhamal
- A building in Jogiapalli, Ganjam
- A house in Domuhani, Ganjam, belonging to his cousin
- Office chamber and residential government quarter in Kashipur, Rayagada
