Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths launched simultaneous searches at three locations in Kalahandi district today in connection with allegations of possessing disproportionate assets against Bhagbat Bhusan Behera, a Forester under the Bhawanipatna Forest Range.
The searches are being conducted at Behera’s residential triple-storeyed building in Hill Town at Bhawanipatna, his brother’s house in Deundi village under Junagarh police station and his office chamber at the Bhatangpadar Forest Section.
A team of four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), seven Inspectors, four ASIs, and other staff are involved in the operation, led by the Odisha Vigilance.
Searches are ongoing, and further details will follow.
