Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance on Tuesday conducted searches on the premises of Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation (Khurda), Manoj Kumar Dash, and have stumbled upon assets worth a huge amount. The Vigilance carried out the raids on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
According to the Vigilance, it has come across bank deposits of Rs 25 lakh, insurance premiums (paid) Rs 18 lakh, a double storeyed building at Gobinda Prasad (Jayadurga Nagar) and a single storeyed market complex at Birakishorepur in Athagarh.
Besides, 4 plots in prime area of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Athagarh were also detected by the Vigilance. “Details of investments and deposits made in banks, insurance, other schemes are being verified. Vigilance Technical Wing is carrying out detailed measurement and assessment of the buildings/plots,” the anti-corruption agency stated,
