Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance on Wednesday conducted searches on the premises of the Forest Range Officer of Kegaon forest range in Kalahandi district on allegations of possession of disproportionate assets.
According to the Vigilance, five teams led by DSPs conducted raids at four places on the strength of warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna. The four places where raids are being conducted are:
- Residential triple storyed building at OM Nagar, Kesinga Town;
- Office chamber of Majhi located at Kegaon;
- Residential government quarter at Kegaon; and
- Majhi’s residential house at Brahmani village under Kesinga police limits.
“Further searches and probe, in this case, is underway,” the Vigilance added.
