Vigilance Raids PACS Employee In Bargarh, Unearths Assets Worth Rs 1.07 Cr

Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance on Monday raided the premises of Ghanashyam Sahu, Assistant Secretary, Gaisilet Primary Agriculture Co-operative Society (PACS), Bargarh over allegations of disproportionate assets.

The searches at two places in Bargarh district were carried out by officers and staff of Sambalpur Vigilance Division. The property and assets have been valued at Rs 1.07 crore. Further investigation is on in this case, the Vigilance said.

So far, one double storeyed building at Kalangapali in Bargarh, three plots in Bargarh district, one four wheeler, one Tractor, two 2-wheelers, Bank deposits over Rs 7 lakh, Insurance deposits over Rs 10 lakh, cash of Rs 1.69 lakh and other movable and immovable property have been unearthed, the Vigilance stated.
