Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance team has unearthed several assets linked to Jitendra Kumar Jena, PEO of Bancho Gram Panchayat under Hatadihi block in Keonjhar district.
The searches revealed a triple-storey building with an area of 3,300 sqft located at Biranchipur, Hatadihi.
Additionally, a double-storey market complex spanning 5,000 sqft was found at Jagannathpur, Basantia Bazar. Jena also owns six plots in Chandia, Biranchipur, and Jagannathpur. The properties include residential and commercial plots, with details being verified by the Vigilance Technical Wing.
Jena, who joined government service in 1995, is being investigated for possessing assets disproportionate to his income.
The Vigilance Technical Wing is assessing the value of the unearthed properties. Searches are ongoing.
