Bhubaneswar: The vigilance raid today revealed a vast array of assets belonging to Purendra Kumar Sethy, the record supplier of the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), and his family members.
The assets which were unearthed by the anti-graft agency include 16 land pattas (RORs) in different names, currently under verification for potential Benami assets.
Similarly, the vigilance unearthed a four-storey building spanning 10,880 square feet in Kanan Vihar, Phase-II, Patia, in Bhubaneswar and a cash totalling Rs. 1.7 lakhs, bank, insurance, and mutual fund investments worth approximately Rs. 16 lakhs.
Some additional deposits are under verification, vigilance said.
The raiding team also found two four-wheelers (Toyota Urban Cruiser and Toyota Etios Liva) and five two-wheelers.
The Vigilance Technical Wing is currently assessing the value of the four-story building. The investigation is underway.
