Villager’s Body With Injury Marks Recovered From Sunabeda Sanctuary In Odisha

Nuapada: Police recovered the body of a villager in Gudma village under Soseng village Panchayat inside the Sunabeda Sanctuary in Odisha’s Nuapada district. According to reports, the body bears several wounds hinting that the victim may have been murdered.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Pahari of Adar village in the region.

Komna police sent the body for postmortem at the Komna Health Centre and launched an investigation into the matter. The body will be handed over to the deceased’s family after the autopsy.

Komna police station officer Sumant Naik said that the reason behind the death of Gopal Pahari will be ascertained only after they receive the autopsy report.
