Villagers Storm Police Station After Man Lynched In Bhadrak

Bhadrak: In a gruesome incident, a man was brutally beaten to death with iron rods by a group of youths Karanjadia Maliksahi near Basudevpur under Naikanidihi Police Station in Bhadrak district

The incident sparked widespread outrage, with hundreds of villagers storming the Naikanidihi Police Station, demanding the arrest of the accused. The body was placed at the main gate of the police station, and tensions ran high in the area.

A video of Nabaghan naming his attackers and seeking revenge before his death has gone viral on social media, further fueling public anger. The police are currently investigating the incident and have not made any arrests yet.

According to eyewitnesses, Nabaghan Malik was returning home with his sister on Sunday night when they were stopped and attacked. The victims were beaten with iron rods, sticks, and other objects, leaving Nabaghan critically injured. He was rushed to Basudevpur and later transferred to Cuttack, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The attack was reportedly a result of past enmity.

The police are currently investigating the incident and have not made any arrests yet.
