Violence During Bike Rally, 10 Cops Injured In Sambalpur

Bhubaneswar: During a bike rally from Dhanupali Street for Hanuman Jayanti in Sambalpur, people pelted stones in which at least 10 police personnel were injured.

According to reports, an Additional SP-ranked officer and the IIC of Dhanupali police station among others sustained injuries.

Besides, shops were set on fire and cars and bikes were damaged by the unidentified miscreants during the rally. The injured have been shifted to a local hospital and 10 platoons force deployed to control the situation.
