Sambalpur: The engineering graduate of VSSUT Burla, who died after falling into the Power Channel of Hirakud Dam, succumbed due to drowning. The autopsy reports of the deceased, Chinmayee Priyadarshini Sahu suggested that reason for death was drowning, the doctors said.
Burla police have registered a murder case in this matter and investigating further. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint registered by Chinmayee’s mother, who alleged that she was murdered and pushed into the power channel.
