Bhubaneswar: Four policemen were injured after being allegedly attacked by a most wanted criminal during an attempt to nab him in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The accused identified as Tiku Malia of Kapileswar area has several cases registered against him at many police stations in the capital city.
On getting information about his presence in Lingaraj Police Station area, police had conducted a raid in the area to nab him.
After being surrounded by police, Tiku attempted to flee the spot. One Sub-Inspector and three constables were injured in the attack.
However, Tiku was finally overpowered by the police and arrested.
