**Dhenkanal:** In a place where the wild elephants often stray into human habitats, the people of Jamujhara village in Kamakshyanagar of Dhenkanal district witnessed a baby elephant fallen into a small well on Saturday morning.
There was a herd of elephant moving in the area on Friday evening. It is suspected that the baby elephant must have strayed into the habitat and fallen inside the well. It was discovered by a few villagers who heard it trumpet in the morning.
They immediately informed the forest officials who are trying to rescue it as soon as possible.
