New Delhi: The long wait to see both the twins return to their homeland seems to be nearing as Jaga and Balia are recovering fast. In this latest video, both of them can be seen in a playful mood.
While Balia seems to be more active and jolly, Jaga is yet to be that much energetic and playful and is seen relaxing on the hospital couch.
The State government has been evaluating the prospects of bringing back the now-separated conjoined twins to a hospital in Odisha as they have been improving since their rare and successful separation surgeries in October in 2017.
The 32-month-conjoined twins were born to Bhuan Kanhar and Puspanjali of Milipada village in Kandhamal district with an extremely rare medical condition. After media reports, the State Government intervened and the craniophagus twins were successfully separated after two long surgeries at AIIMS in New Delhi in October last year.
The people of Odisha prayed fervently for the well being of the twins during the separation surgeries.
