Watch ‘Living Goddesses’ This Dussehra In Bhubaneswar

**Bhubaneswar:** It was no man made idol that adorned the stage of a Durga Puja pandal at Baya Baba Matha Lane in Unit-9 of Bhubaneswar but people were able to have the darshan of living goddesses.

The ‘Chaitanya Devi Darshan’ organised by the Bhubaneswar Centre of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya had women pose as Goddess Durga, Laxmi, Saraswati and other demigoddesses.

The women were in make-up and costume, supported by an artificial eight-handed structure for Durga and a life size cutout of a tiger as her mount.

Mahishasuramardini was being played as the background score and a priest was offering prayers to the Goddess.

It is worthwhile to mention that this is not the first time a Brahma Kumaris centre have organised such an event. They have also engaged school children in the past to enact living gods and goddesses during various festivals.
