**Dhenkanal:** The forest officials reached the spot after being informed by the people of Jamujhara village about a baby elephant who had fallen into an open well on Friday night.
The elephant tried a lot to come out of the deep well but in vain.
The forest officials broke one side of the well by a JCB Machine and removed the debris, making the well shorter on one side. The baby elephant was able to climb that portion of the well after a little effort. All heaved a sigh of relief as the elephant was finally out of the well.
The forest officials then frisked the baby elephant towards the forest area so that it might reach back to its herd.
