**Sambalpur: ** People of Sambalpur were surprised and irritated after they discovered water diluted petrol at a fuel filling station here in the district headquarters town.
The rare incident happened at a petrol pump situated near Jail chhak.
According to sources, the incident came into light after a customer complained that he was facing ignition problem with his vehicle soon after filling that adulterated oil.
Other customers also soon after stared complaining in the same manner and demanded refund of money and compensation from the filling station owner.
The district supply officials rushed the spot on being informed about the incident and started probe.
