**Bhubaneswar**: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector General Kamalakanta Sharma here on Wednesday said that they ensure adequate quality food supplies to the jawans.
When asked his views about the viral video of a BSF jawan who alleged large-scale corruption in paramilitary, Sharma said he wouldn’t comment on that but jawans in Odisha get enough attention when it comes food and and other basic amenities.
“We take care of our soldiers well. There is a systematic procedure through which we ensure basic amenities for our soldiers. I can’t comment on the recent controversy but I assure you that it doesn’t happen here in CRPF,” Sharma added.
The CRPF IG today met Chief Minister Naveen Patanik and discussed about the strategies how to tackle the ultras.
Notably, as per the State Government report, Maoist activities have decline significantly but districts such as Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Sunabeda and Nuapada are very vulnerable places.
