Bhubaneswar: Scare of rainfall spoiling the Durga Puja festivities is looming large with the Regional Meteorological Department predicting moderate thunderstorm with light to moderate rainfall across a staggering 21 districts across Odisha. The weather will affect the twin cities too.
As per Bhubaneswar Met Department’s latest bulletin, a warning for moderate thunderstorm and light to moderate rainfall has been issued for 21 districts as a consequence of low pressure.
The districts are Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Khurda, Balangir, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Cuttack and Mayurbhanj. The effects will be scattered over these districts and will be experienced at one or two places only.
The alert has been issued for next 24 hours.
