Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for 20 Odisha districts, predicting thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph over the districts tomorrow.
The districts going to be affected include Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Central Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sundargarh.
According to the IMD prediction, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at a few places over the districts of Odisha tomorrow.
Residents are advised to be aware of the potential thunderstorms and take necessary precautions.
