Bhubaneswar: During the next 24 hours, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Koraput, and Malkangiri.
Similarly, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Deogarh, Bolangir, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Jajpur, Bhadrak, and Balasore, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) informed.
The IMD has issued yellow warning for these districts over the forecast. “There will be no large change in Maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 4 to 5 days over Odisha. The Capital City will witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder/lightining, the IMD added.
