Weather Warning: Rain & Thunderstorms Likely In 17 Odisha Dists In 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: At least 17 districts in Odisha are very likely to experience light to moderate rain/thundershower accompanied by lightning within the next three hours, warned the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar this afternoon.

The districts that will experience rain include Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Rayagada, and Gajapati.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
