Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rain in six Odisha districts in the next three hours. The districts that are likely to experience rain and thundershowers include Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, and Balasore.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to avoid lightning strikes.
