Bhubaneswar: The well-marked low-pressure area is likely to concentrate into depression by tomorrow and further into a deep depression during the subsequent 24 hours. The Regional Meteorological Centre shared the forecast in its morning bulletin.

As per the forecast, the well-marked low-pressure area as of Thursday morning lies over Northwest and adjoining West-central Bay of Bengal off south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh coasts.
The well-marked low pressure will likely induce isolated cases of very heavy rainfall over coastal Odisha today. On Friday (October 23), fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy fall is very likely over coastal Odisha.
