**Cuttack: ** A team of Sri Lankan Cricket Board officials on Saturday visited the Barabati Stadium here ahead of the T20 international, scheduled to be held in December this year. The officials expressed satisfaction with the facilities and infrastructure of the stadium.
After reviewing the facility, Sri Lankan Cricket Board official Chandima Mapatuna said, “A number of international matches have been played here. The ground is of international standards and there is no reason why there should be any problem.”
BCCI’s assistant manager of cricket operations, Sumeet Mallapurkar and former Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) president Ashirbad Behera also visited the stadium along with the Sri Lankan officials.
Barabati last hosted the second ODI match between India and England on January 19 this year.
