Whale Carcass Found In Odisha’s Bhitarkanika National Park

Kendrapara: Body of a whale has been found floating ashore inside the Bhitarkanika National Park near Ahirajpur village under Rajnagar block of Kendrapara district today.

The aquatic mammal is over 30 feet in length. People from nearby villages have thronged the area to have a glimpse of the whale.

Forest officials reached the spot after getting information about the discovery. The exact reason behind its death is yet to be ascertained.
