Balasore: A woman has allegedly been kidnapped for the second time by the same person who had abducted and raped her earlier, as per a complaint lodged by her husband at Baliapal Police Station on Thursday.
Reportedly, the woman in a complaint lodged at the same police station on June 25 this year had accused one Subal Jena of their village of her abduction and rape. She had alleged that Subal had befriended her husband and used to visit their home on a regular basis.
Around one month back, he came to their house when she was alone and abducted her after making her unconscious. He took her to Balasore and forced her to sign on some papers at knifepoint. Later, he left with her for Digha where he kept her in a small house and established physical relationship with her without her consent.
It was after she shared her ordeal with an elderly woman who used to work at the house, the latter helped her to escape from there. She somehow managed to return home, but Subal used to threaten her to come back claiming on the power of the papers she had signed that they have married.
He alongwith some anti-socials also visited their house daily and abused her and threatened to take her forcibly after killing her husband and child. In view of this she had asked for police protection and action against Subal.
Today her husband alleged that the police had not taken any action against Subal and finally he kidnapped her for the second time this morning while she had gone to deposit a loan amount taken from a Self Help Group.
