Boudh: Body of a woman constable has been seized from a quarter in Police Colony at Butupalli in Boudh on Wednesday.
According to reports, body of the deceased constable identified as Champa Meher was found hanging in her official quarter at the Police Colony in the morning today.
Champa was taken to the district headquarters hospital here. However, she was declared dead by the doctors.
She was deployed on guard duty at the district treasury. She was residing with her husband and two kids at her official quarter.
While the reason behind her death is not clear, police have detained her husband.
