Nuapada: In a shocking incident, the body of a woman constable was found hanging from a tree near Nuapada Railway Station on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Rukmani Nag.
According to preliminary information, Rukmani is believed to have recorded a video message before taking the extreme step. Local police rushed to the spot after being informed, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination.
The Nuapada police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the constable taking the extreme step.
