Balangir: In a shocking incident, a woman and her mother-in-law died under mysterious circumstances at Indranagarpada in Balangir district, on Sunday.
According to reports, Anandini Sahu was found hanging from the ceiling, while her mother-in-law, Jambubati Sahu, died of a heart attack after discovering Anandini’s body. The incident occurred on Sunday evening when Anandini’s husband Gaurahari Sahu was away from home.
Gaurahari Sahu, the husband of the deceased Anandini, informed his father-in-law Ramesh Sahu about the incident over the phone at around 4 pm yesterday.
Meanwhile, Anandini’s father claimed that Gaurahari had taken his daughter to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital before her family members arrived.
He accused his son-in-law Gaurahari and his brother of murdering his daughter. According to him, the perpetrators allegedly left for a wedding immediately after the crime, in an attempt to avoid suspicion.
