Bhubaneswar: A woman was allegedly gang-raped by three persons including her relative in Paradip Lock Police station area in Jagatsinghpur district on Wednesday night.
Police have detained the accused and are interrogating them.
On Wednesday night, the woman left home for outside over some trivial issues in the family. Her family members launched a search but failed to find her.
On the other hand, the woman met one of her relatives on the road. Her relative and two others discussed with her and offered help to bring her back home.
On the way to home, they took her to a house at Dochhaki in Paradip and abused her sexually one by one throughout the night. Later, they left her there and fled.
The survivor filed a complaint at the police station. Based on the complaint, police registered a case and investigated the incident.
Following the statement of the woman, police picked up the accused and questioned them.
Police also conducted the medical examination of the woman.
