In a bid to keep his late husband’s presence alive in their home, she has installed a silicone statue of Samir who died in a freak mishap in October 2023.
According to reports, when Sagarika lost her beloved husband Samir, a dedicated rural medical practitioner, her world was shattered. But even amid unbearable grief, her love for him refused to falter. Instead, it fuelled a remarkable tribute that has kept his memory alive in their home.
Sagarika commissioned a life-like silicone statue of Samir, which now sits comfortably on their sofa, exuding a sense of warmth and comfort. It’s as if Samir had just stepped out for a moment, and his presence continues to be felt deeply by Sagarika and their two children.
