Koksara: A woman was killed while her husband and daughter suffered critical injuries when the bike in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding police vehicle from the opposite side near Bhursaguda on the Biju Expressway today.
According to reports, the deceased woman has been identified as Kian Majhi of Kandagarh village in Aampani panchayat.
The injured have been identified as Krushna Chandra Majhi and 10-year-old Namita Majhi.
Following the accident, the trio was rushed to the Koksara hospital by the police.
While Kian Majhi succumbed to her injuries at Koksara hospital, her husband and daughter have been shifted to the district headquarters hospital at Bhawanipatna as their health condition deteriorated.
