Bhubaneswar: A passenger bus en route to Odisha’s Cuttack from Kendrapara ran over a woman killing her on the spot on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred at Chandol Kharida Sahi on Chandbali Road under Kendrapara Sadar police limits.
The identity of the deceased woman is yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, the passenger bus collided head-on with a scooter from the opposite direction. Consequently, the woman riding the scooter fell and she was run over by the bus.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the fatal accident.
