Soro: A pick-up truck carrying a Diesel Genset (DG) overturned near Kanpur bridge on Soro-Kupari road killing a woman on the spot.
Irate family members of the deceased woman set the pick-up truck afire while they blocked the road and demanded compensation.
Soro police and Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire. Police persuaded the agitators to vacate the roadblock.
The deceased woman has been identified as Urmila Das.
