Keonjhar: A woman was killed in a lightning strike at Rutishila village under Pandapada police station limits in Keonjhar district today.
The deceased has been identified as Manguli Munda. She was a resident of Munda Sahi locality of Rutishila village.
According to reports, Manguli was returning home with her infant son after taking a bath at around 5 PM when lightning struck her.
While her infant son had a narrow escape, Manguli died.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
