Balasore: In a shocking incident, a woman lawyer reportedly consumed poison while hearing in a divorce case was underway at the Family Court here today.
The woman lawyer identified as Bhagyabati Behera was rushed to the district headquarters hospital here by fellow lawyers in a critical condition, reports said.
While the exact reason behind her act is not clear, Bhagyabati has been fighting her own divorce case since 2011, reports added.
However, Balasore Bar Association secretary Sambit Nundy has informed that her condition is stable
