Bhubaneswar: A female guest lecturer of Government Women’s College in Keonjhar was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her male friend’s house.

Priyanka Das, a resident of Talapada village in Balasore district, had been working as a guest faculty in the Home Science department for the last two years. She was residing in a rented house near Nirmala Convent School on Mining Road, where she reportedly shared the premises with Rudranarayan Mishra (45), a local resident.

Her family alleged that she was murdered, citing injury marks on her neck, and demanded a thorough police investigation. The police detained Rudra Narayan Mishra, for questioning and sent Priyanka’s body for post-mortem to determine the cause of death.

The incident has sparked outrage, with the family seeking justice and stringent action against those responsible.
