Khordha: A woman Ph.D. scholar of National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in the institute’s campus on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Pooja Jethwani of Chhattisgarh who had been pursuing her Ph.D. in Physics at NISER since August 2017.
Meanwhile, police have seized her body and sent it for post mortem. The actual reason behind her death is yet to be ascertained.
